MEDITATION

Meditation allows you to reach a very calm state of mind. If you haven’t practiced this type of exercise before, it isn’t as weird as you may think.

You simply find a quiet spot, sit quietly, and focus on your breathing. If you think of something, just release that thought and focus on your breathing. Just clear your mind and think of not thinking.

Try to do this for about 10 to 15 minutes per session, and hopefully, at least once a day. That’s it. That’s all there is to it. But you will be surprised about how good you feel after doing this for a few days.

Just relax and quiet your mind.

You don’t need special equipment or incense or flowing robes. Just find a comfortable place, a chair, the couch, or the floor, and get comfortable. In fact, you can do this just about anywhere, but not while driving or operating equipment. In the woods, by the creek, or just about any quiet, relaxing environment. Relax, close your eyes and breath.

This exercise is great for stress reduction and balancing your energies. Studies have shown that people who practice this exercise regularly were calmer and happier than before they began.

Don’t expect immediate results. This is not a competitive or endurance thing. If you are taking medications or have some sort of medical condition, it is usually a good idea to check with your physician before beginning.
